divh2Full Time Housekeeping Tech/h2pCabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Tech to join our Environmental Services Department!
/ppThis position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the medical center by performing routine cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting tasks in assigned areas.
The role includes supporting patient care operations by assisting with room turnover following acute care discharges, as well as conducting thorough cleaning in surgical and emergency areas during high-demand periods.
The position requires flexibility and teamwork, with the ability to float between departments as needed and complete deep cleaning projects during low census periods.
Additionally, the role involves maintaining and properly using housekeeping equipment and supplies, while ensuring all tools are cleaned, serviced, and in good working condition.

/ppAssignments are completed in a timely and professional manner, while paying attention to detail.
/ppAdapts to changing rules and regulations in the Environmental Services Department, understanding and using current technology as related to the position.
/ppMaintains utility and janitor closet areas in a clean and orderly manner.
/ppCleans and restocks supplies of housekeeping cart at the end of each shift.
/ppKeeps all EVS equipment cleaned, stored properly and reports all equipment failures or problems appropriately.
/ppUses chemicals appropriately.
/ppRefills all necessary supplies and dispensers as required.
/ppWears personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
/ppFollows departmental dress code policy.
/ppCompletes the annual Healthstream annual education courses on time.
/ppUtilizes attendance systems per organizational and departmental guidelines and maintains prompt and regular attendance.
/ph3Skills, Knowledge, Abilities/h3pKnowledge of commercial cleaners and equipment preferred.
/ppAbility to read, write and speak English.
/ppAbility to follow written and oral instructions, including basic computer use.
/ppMust meet all local health regulation requirements including a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
/ppCurrent Montana state drivers license.
/ph3Schedule/h3pShifts will run 5 days a week Monday-Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
Days worked and shift times are subject to change at the request of the manager.
/ph3Compensation/h3p$***** - $*****/hr.
depending on experience.
Plus night shift differential of $2.50 an hour for any hours worked after 6:00 pm.
/ph3Education Requirements/h3pHigh School Education or equivalent.
/ph3Experience/h3pPrevious medical center housekeeping experience required, including knowledge of infection control.
/ppPrior leadership and/or managerial experience preferred.
