Project Manager, IT, Texas

Description

Job Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with IT leaders, business partners, and cross-functional team members.
Coordinate with product teams and leadership to plan and deliver application documentation and onboarding support.
Develop and execute knowledge-sharing and training plans, including curriculum, schedules, materials, milestones, and progress reporting.
Facilitate the collection of documentation and support onboarding of new team members.
Prepare project updates, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.
Positively influence stakeholders by managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and aligning teams to transformation goals.
Apply change management practices to minimize resistance and maximize adoption of new processes and technologies.
Maintain effective communication channels to enable continuous feedback.
Partner with finance teams to track, manage, and report on project budgets and spend.
Use data and metrics to establish baselines, measure outcomes, share insights, and prioritize delivery.
Practice Agile delivery, continuously evaluating progress to focus on high-value initiatives.
Support enterprise-wide Agile and DevOps transformation efforts as needed.

Skills:

Experience managing IT projects using structured project management methodologies.
Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile product and project management tools.
Experience supporting large enterprise technology transformations.
Ability to develop and deliver training programs or curriculum.
Strong understanding of change management principles.
Experience managing project budgets and financial tracking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage internal teams, external partners, and third-party vendors.
Airline industry experience and product management exposure (preferred).
