Certification Engineer, Texas

Description

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage Part 25 certification engineering activities related to large transport category aircraft interiors.
Develop, review, and approve technical documentation to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
Support Aircraft Seat Technical Standard Order (TSO) compliance and certification processes (if applicable).
Collaborate with the AA ODA team to provide ongoing support and guidance throughout certification efforts.
Prepare and assist in the creation of Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) packages, including compliance plans and certification reports.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate successful interior retrofit certification projects.
Conduct design reviews, identify certification risks, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to aircraft interior certification.
Communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, internal teams, and external partners to ensure timely project delivery.
