Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Part 25 certification engineering activities related to large transport category aircraft interiors.
  • Develop, review, and approve technical documentation to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Support Aircraft Seat Technical Standard Order (TSO) compliance and certification processes (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with the AA ODA team to provide ongoing support and guidance throughout certification efforts.
  • Prepare and assist in the creation of Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) packages, including compliance plans and certification reports.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate successful interior retrofit certification projects.
  • Conduct design reviews, identify certification risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to aircraft interior certification.
  • Communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, internal teams, and external partners to ensure timely project delivery.
