Description

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Actively remove technical and process-related impediments to maintain team velocity
Partner with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the backlog and track Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown)
Coach the team on Agile best practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement
Manage all phases of the SDLC from requirements through deployment and ongoing support
Implement and optimize development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and DevOps
Oversee quality assurance activities, including unit, integration, and UAT testing
Support and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Lead code reviews, enforce TDD practices, and uphold engineering quality standards
Participate in architectural discussions to ensure scalability and long-term alignment

Skills:

Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks with CSM or PSM I/II certification
Advanced proficiency in Java (17/21+), Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for Agile tracking and documentation
Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing strategies
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and front-end frameworks (React/Angular) is a plus
