Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with hands-on experience in ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System), .NET, and SQL. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring efficient solutions for commercial lending systems and custom applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of banking workflows, and the technical acumen to work closely with development and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze business requirements related to commercial lending and ACBS workflows

Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications

Work closely with developers to design and enhance .NET-based applications

Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis

Serve as the SME for ACBS integrations, data structures, and reporting

Collaborate with QA teams to define test plans, test cases, and support UAT

Identify gaps and propose solutions that align with business goals

Support data migration, integration, and transformation projects

Prepare documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user guides

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably commercial lending

Strong experience working with ACBS – configuration, reporting, integrations

Proficiency in .NET framework – ability to communicate effectively with developers on backend/front-end logic

Advanced knowledge of SQL Server – writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, etc.

Experience in data mapping, data analysis, and process modeling

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous involvement in ACBS upgrades, data migration, or system decommissioning

Knowledge of related banking systems (e.g., Loan IQ, FIS, etc.)

Experience with API integrations and data exchange formats (XML, JSON)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
