Test Administrator

Under the supervision of the Senior Associate Director, this temporary part-time position is responsible for administering and proctoring a wide range of examinations within a comprehensive, multi-campus Assessment Center environment. Examinations may include, but are not limited to, college admissions tests, placement assessments, instructional and academic testing, certification examinations, and nationally published assessments.The Test Administrator is responsible for ensuring all testing procedures are conducted in accordance with institutional policies, testing vendor guidelines, and security standards. This role requires close attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to maintain a secure and supportive testing environment for students and community members.Key responsibilities include: Administering and monitoring paper-based and computer-based examinations Verifying identification and maintaining testing integrity and security protocols Assisting students, faculty, staff, and community members with testing-related questions and processes Providing clear instructions and support to examinees before, during, and after testing sessionsMaintaining confidentiality of student records, testing materials, and sensitive information Assisting with scheduling, check-in procedures, documentation, and record maintenance Preparing reports, maintaining testing logs, and completing required administrative tasks Supporting daily operations of the Assessment Center and providing general office coverage as neededCommunicating professionally and effectively with students, faculty, staff, and external testing representatives Troubleshooting minor technical issues related to testing platforms and equipment Ensuring testing spaces are organized, secure, and compliant with established procedures Performing additional duties as assigned to support departmental and institutional needsThis position requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, student-centered environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times. This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport and Harbison campuses. Associate's degree with three (3) years of relevant experience in an office environment, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively.Bachelor's degree with two years of experience working in testing services or student services.
