They must work in a safe, productive, efficient, and quality conscious manner on all tasks. The employee must be self-motivated, cooperative, and have excellent attendance. They must follow all work rules while performing job duties and utilize critical reasoning skills when solving problems that effect safety, quality, and productivity./ph3Principal Responsibilities/h3ulliActively participate in Blythewood Plant Safety Program. Successfully complete Company provided safety training/liliKnowledge and practice of all safety procedures in the area./liliOperation of required material handling devices and proper handling of materials./liliOperate machinery while monitoring material, equipment, and methods to ensure quality product is manufactured./liliCollect data and complete record keeping requirements./liliPerform in-process quality testing./liliKnowledge of production specifications and quality requirements./liliChange-over, start-up, monitor, and adjust operating condition to maintain quality, production, and safety standards on the production equipment./liliProduce product at an acceptable rate and required quality./liliUse measuring and weighing tools and devices accurately./liliPerform routine maintenance, including but not limited to cleaning equipment, lubricating equipment, making adjustments, and fixing minor mechanical problems./liliComplete the required training and perform the duties of Hazardous Waste Handler to include transfer of hazardous waste containers to accumulation area and ensure hazardous waste containers are properly labeled and sealed./liliRelated tasks as requested by supervisor/li/ulh3Essential Skills and Experience/h3ulliHigh School diploma or equivalent work experience with basic math, written and oral communication skills./liliManufacturing experience in coating, web handling or extrusion preferred./liliAbility and willingness to work with others as a team member./liliAbility to understand and work with metric measures and volumes./liliAbility to work in high humidity and high temperature environments./liliMust be able to work any shift required, including overtime./liliMust complete all required annual training to meet safety rules and OSHA regulations./liliParticipate on problem solving teams as required./li/ulpstrongWhy Choose IPG?/strong/ppAt IPG, you will find more than just a jobyou will find a place where your success is our success.
