Key duties include interpreting test results, documenting non-conformances, calibrating equipment, and reading blueprints for quality assurance.Core Responsibilities NDT Testing: Perform

liquid penetrant (PT) to detect cracks, porosity, or inclusions on metallic/non-metallic parts. Documentation&Compliance: Review, document, and interpret inspection results according to engineering specs and industry standards. Dimensional/Visual Inspection: Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and structural integrity. Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain PT equipment, tanks, and materials (developers, penetrants).Non-Conformance Reporting: Document and report any defects found during inspection. Required Qualifications&Skills Certification: NDT Level II certification in PT (often per NAS410 or ASNT standards). Experience: Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environments. Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.Physical Requirements: Ability to work in confined spaces, handle materials, and meet visual acuity standards.
