Job Overview:

The Account Executive, Government position focuses on the customer life cycle, supporting the growth of government accounts. The primary responsibilities are to sell to government entities, renew contracts, increase customer satisfaction, and improve revenue while driving customer retention activity. As an Account Executive, your performance is evaluated on your ability to meet sales expectations and maintain a high level of job performance through a variety of metrics focused on building the business. The quality and method of work must be consistently completed in accordance with company core values. This role requires competency in customer focus, change and innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing, talent management, results focus, and inspirational leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

Utilize contact list to call leads and generate sales opportunities.

Exceed monthly sales, renewal, and churn target goals.

Welcome customers, review service agreements, answer questions, and identify additional business opportunities.

Meet call goals as defined.

Establish and maintain customer relationships to drive sales and expand customer base.

Complete customer account maintenance based on reviews.

Provide account analysis to determine up-sell and renewal opportunities.

Monitor and resolve customer issues.

Track individual account activity and outcomes.

Perform data entry, system navigation, and utilize systems to support account activity.

Analyze information and make independent decisions.

Complete training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales techniques.

Use available tools and resources to meet productivity and quality standards.

Meet or exceed departmental and individual performance goals.

Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Process adjustments and credits as appropriate within established guidelines.

Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED (Required)

Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).

Work Experience:

2-4 years Selling to Government (State and Local) accounts. (Required)

Less than 2 years Extensive customer service experience. (Preferred)

Less than 2 years Business markets sales experience. (Preferred)

Less than 2 years Wireless industry sales experience. (Preferred)

Less than 2 years Telesales or technical sales experience. (Preferred)
