Machinist, Ohio

Summary:

An experienced machinist is needed for an employer in Logan, Ohio They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented machinist with experience in CNC and/or manual machining to join their manufacturing team. This role requires a strong understanding of machine setup, machining techniques, and the use of precision measuring tools. The ideal candidate will have experience across various machines and materials and be comfortable adapting to different production requirements.

This is a temp-to-direct hire, full-time position, hiring imediately. Weekdays, first shift and competitive pay. If hired on direct, this company offers health insurance, paid time off, and retirement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining (Manual machining experience also considered)

Ability to set up CNC and/or manual machines independently

Familiarity with G-code programming for CNC machines

Proficient in using measuring equipment: calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, etc.

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required):

Experience programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Gibbscam, Solidworks)

Proficient in both lathes and mills

Comfortable using computers in a machining environment

Familiar with machining a wide range of materials

Ability to create custom fixtures, install tooling, and apply various machining techniques
