AECOM has an opening for an experienced Electrical Engineer to be based in Orange, CA; Denver, CO; Columbus, OH or Cleveland, OH.
The Electrical Engineer will join a multidisciplinary, collaborative team with a range of expertise supporting the expansion of their knowledge base with the ability to travel and gain field experience.
As part of our team, you will support a tapestry of work across markets like Commercial, Federal (Military/DoD), Healthcare, Higher Education, Sports + Rec and Science + Tech markets, including landmark projects in the industry. You will have opportunities to take on complex challenges and pioneer innovative solutions from strategy and design through project realization.

Our Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building and system engineering, urbanism, and planning, strategy +, economics, technology solutions, asset advisory, and cost and program management. Job Summary/Responsibilities
Electrical engineering support from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy
Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Support in the review of shop drawings during the construction administration phase
Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids
Write reports and memos for internal and external purposes based on findings
Works cooperatively with managers and other employees to achieve company's mission
Ensures discipline plans that are created meet overall project team requirements for project scope, quality and schedule
Stays current on codes and technologies appropriate to the electrical disciplines
Support on site visits for the purpose of data collection and evaluation of electrical systems, equipment, components and materials for projects
Develops designs within a BIM design environment
Completes assigned engineering and design tasks in accordance with client specified criteria and applicable codes and standards
