Sr. AWS AgentCore Platform Engineer, Grandview Heights

Description We are looking for a Sr. AWS AgentCore Platform Engineer to help build and advance an enterprise-scale AI environment for our client, a leader in their industry. This Long-term Consulting position will focus on creating secure, scalable, and well-governed foundations for AI agents and generative AI applications so business teams can adopt solutions with confidence and speed. The role combines architecture, engineering, and operational delivery to move AI initiatives into reliable production use while aligning with broader technology, security, and data standards. This role is heavily preferred 4 days/week onsite, 1 day/week remote. Client located in Central Ohio. Responsibilities: Leads the end-to-end design, engineering, and operationalization of our client's enterprise AI platform, establishing scalable, secure, and governed capabilities for deploying AI agents and generative AI solutions, while enabling business units across AHM to rapidly adopt and operationalize AI in alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and data strategies. Requirements· Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns · Proven experience working with AI/ML or generative AI platforms (e.g., Bedrock, OpenAI APIs) in production environments · Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation) andCI/CD pipeline implementation · Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages, with experience building scalable backend services · Experience with AWS AgentCore or agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, etc.) · Familiarity with LLMOps / MLOps practices and tooling · Experience implementing observability solutions (OpenTelemetry, Datadog, etc.) Knowledge of data platforms, vector databases, and RAG architectures Experience operating in large, federated enterprise environments · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, 7 years of experience in cloud/platform engineering Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
