Key Responsibilities for the Construction Accounting Manager:• Oversee all construction accounting functions, including job costing and WIP reporting • Prepare and analyze percentage-of-completion revenue recognition • Manage month-end close and produce accurate financial statements • Maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete analyses for active projects• Partner with project managers to track project performance and margins • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls • Supervise and mentor accounting staff • Support audits, tax preparation, and special projects as needed

Qualifications for the Construction Accounting Manager:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required • 5+ years of construction accounting experience • Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion accounting • Prior leadership or management experience preferred• Experience with construction ERP systems strongly preferred • Strong communication skills with both financial and operational teams
