Responsibilities:Set up and tear down extrusion lines, including installing and changing dies Start up and operate extrusion equipment Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed Troubleshoot extrusion line issues and maintain efficient operation Produce quality product while minimizing downtime and scrapMaintain accurate production and downtime records Operate packaging equipment for finished products Assist and lead team members assigned to the line Use measuring instruments and hand tools including micrometers, precision rules, clamps, and fixtures Perform material handling and packaging preparation as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and standards Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on extrusion experience required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Good communication and math skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishManufacturing experience in plastics or extrusion preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout shift Frequently lift and move up to 100 lbs Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Must wear required PPE including steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and eye protection
