Sales Account Manager
to grow new business, strengthen relationships with existing policyholders, and provide excellent customer service.
Job Summary The
Sales Account Manager
will manage a book of business, follow up on leads, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions (e.g., Auto, Home, Life, Health, Renters). This role balances relationship management and sales goals to help the agency grow while delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities Follow up on inbound leads and referrals to set appointments and close sales Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customers Review customer coverage needs and recommend appropriate products Conduct quotes and policy comparisons to support customer decision-makingMaintain accurate records in CRM and complete tasks to agency standards Coordinate with team members to ensure timely policy changes and customer support Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets Provide consistent, friendly, professional customer service Participate in ongoing training and sales development activitiesQualifications Strong work ethic
and willingness to put in the effort required to succeed in a sales-driven role Resilience able to handle rejection, learn from feedback, and stay motivated A genuine
