Parent Involvement LiaisonJOB STATUS: OPEN POSTING DATE: 05/18/2026 CLOSING DATE: 06/09/2026 04:00 PM POSTING NUMBER: 053665 LOCATION: Houser Elementary - 111 POSITION TITLE: Parent Involvement Liaison JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist in the accountability and compliance for campus parent involvement requirements for Title I Part A and assists in developing a parental involvement program that impacts student achievement.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan parent involvement activities, in conjunction with campus principal and staff. Exercise good communication etiquette, develop rapport with parents, initiate parent contacts through phone, mail, and in person. Develop positive relationships between school and home to ensure student success.Maintain documentation of agendas, sign in sheets, and minutes for parent involvement meetings. Carry out parent education programs. Assist with parent conferences and parent communications with English to Spanish translations. Connect families to needed resources. Coordinate the revision of the parent involvement policy and parent compacts for the campus.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular attendance. Maintain confidentiality EXPERIENCE:

One to three years school paraprofessional experience, preferably in public education environment QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills:

Proficient skills in typing, word processing, and file maintenance Effective interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills General computer knowledge General knowledge of school programs Ability to work with students and teachers effectively Bilingual in Spanish/English CONTACT INFORMATION:Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data; maintain emotional control under stress.
