Manufacturing Engineer, Texas

Oxford Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing client to hire a Manufacturing Engineer to take on a Maintenance Supervisor role. This position supports production operations across coil processing, stamping, and tubing lines. The ideal candidate will lead maintenance efforts, drive process improvements, support capital projects, and help optimize KPIs.

Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance operations and oversee preventative maintenance efforts

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes and performance metrics (KPIs)

Identify and implement cost reduction, workflow optimization, and quality improvements

Lead capital improvement and automation projects

Collaborate across production, engineering, and support teams to resolve issues

Design systems and processes for data collection, analysis, and KPI tracking

Perform root cause analysis to address production or equipment issues

Coordinate projects to ensure on-time and within-budget execution

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Systems Engineering required

5+ years in a manufacturing environment focused on process improvement and KPIs

3–5 years of supervisory experience preferred

Steel Service Center and industrial electrical maintenance experience a plus

Knowledge of manufacturing systems including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical

Familiarity with automation and automated control system installations

Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Experience:

High-frequency tube welding and steel coil slitting

Strategic, detail-oriented thinker with a drive for continuous improvement
