Lab Technician, Ohio

Our Client, a Manufacturing company, is looking for a Lab Technician for their Fairlawn, OH location.

 

Responsibilities:

Conduct various testing of raw materials and rubber compounds.

Provide technical support to customers, production and the commercial organization.

Learn to operate all laboratory testing equipment per written procedure

Understand and follow test specifications

Perform rubber product mixing and testing per specifications

Carefully review all test data for accuracy

Record results in web-based data system Enter and react to Statistical Process

Control data Calibrate equipment per schedules and record results

Write work orders to maintain equipment Assist in defining work instruction or process changes

Maintain an appropriate relationship with customers and suppliers, representing Conti Tech in a positive manner.

 

Requirements:

Rubber mixing and milling experience

Rubber compound testing experience

Fluency in Microsoft Office applications

Flexible working schedule Good communication skills in both oral and written

High School or 2-year Associate Degree in a technical field (Bachelor Degree is a plus)

Good oral and written communication skills

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
