We are seeking a Route Service Manager for our client in Lorton VA. As a Route Service Manager, you will be the face of the company, managing an established territory and delivering high-quality battery products to a dedicated network of dealers. This is a highly autonomous role that combines logistics, account management, and relationship building. - Experience: Minimum of 1 year in delivery logistics and face-to-face customer service.
- Licensing: Valid state Driver’s License with a clean driving record and a current DOT medical card (or ability to maintain one).
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners) and general computer systems.
- Skills: Professional communication, basic math, sharp attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. independently, and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, handle a sense of urgency, and adapt to occasional overtime or overnight routes depending on territory needs.
- Setting: Dynamic split between active driving/delivery, client storefronts, and warehouse environments.
- Physical Demands: Repetitive lifting, standing, walking, and driving. Exposure to standard battery warehouse elements (equipment, electricity, and chemicals) requires the consistent use of PPE.

- Account & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for established dealer accounts. Optimize inventory mix, manage consignment agreements, and build long-term relationships to maximize retention and sales.
- Delivery & Logistics: Safely and efficiently load, transport, and deliver product to route dealers, while collecting and returning inventory assets (including used/junk batteries) to the warehouse.
- Financial & Asset Integrity: Manage full route transactions, including cash collection, invoicing, warranties, and meticulous inventory tracking.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, driver program requirements, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies.
