Sr. software engineer, Sterling

We have immediate needs for motivated software engineers with a Top Secret clearance. The following skills and characteristics cover exactly what we're looking for in the right candidate:

• Demonstrated experience developing with modern languages such as: Python, Ruby, Clojure, Java, JavaScript, etc.
• Proven experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts.
• Hands-on experience with API development in micro-service based architectures.
• Understanding of web application development concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka, SciPy, NumPy, Pandas.
• Hands-on AWS API experience - know how to work with AWS SDK/CLI, S3, IAM, EC2, ASG, ELB/ALB, Route 53
• Bonus if possess working knowledge of elastic search, and/or NoSQL DB
• A passionate team member who is not afraid to take on challenges and solve problems
• Comfortable in a team atmosphere but can work independently and deliver results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
