Content Writer ( Jobs), Apex

The Content Writer is a creative thinker, engrossing storyteller, and above all, a formidable copywriter. You are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across different departments and skilled at conducting interviews with customers and internal/external subject matter experts. You are excited at the prospect of redefining a brand in an entirely new category and delivering impact every day through the written word. Beyond supporting our overarching content strategy, you'll help identify new ideas and bring them to life.



This position will report to the Content Marketing Manager.



What You Will Own

• 
  
• Conduct keyword research and ensure content is optimized for search
  
• Interview internal and external subject matter experts and customers
  
• Develop and nurture relationships with editors, journalists, writers, and influencers in the AI space
  
• Maintain content best practices and stay up to date on the latest industry trends
  
• Pitch and create digital content that will demonstrate our thought leadership, build brand awareness, and drive demand generation (e.g., white papers; case studies; web, social, and ad copy; landing pages; email blasts; blogs; press releases; presentations)
  

Knowledge, Skills and Experience You'll Need:

• 
  
• 3+ years of professional experience as a content writer or copywriter at a B2B software company
  
• Strong SEO skills and a deep understanding of the latest developments
  
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in plain language
  
• Comfortable working cross-functionally
  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  
• A keen eye for detail, specifically when it comes to copy-editing and proofreading
  
• You're a self-starter with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude
  
• You love giving and receiving feedback
  
• Experience technical writing is an asset
  
• Degree/diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field is an asset
