Pay range (based on level of experience): $25.00-$28.00/HR

Position Details:

Contract position with possible extension(s) or hire

Fri - Sun 8am to 8pm

Position will build into more of a network role once new site is fully operational

currently 70% structured cabling 20% network

Parking is either free or $4 daily parking ticket can be validated.

Requirements:

2-5 yrs relevant experience

Prefer 1 year experience in a data center environment

* Fiber Optic cabling installation, inspection and cleaning (80%; SM (more); MM)

* Fiber: pairing 96 to 128 strands

* Copper cable termination and certification (CAT 6)

* Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards

* Experience with Fluke Versiv Mainframe

* Cable patching between devices

* Installing and decommissioning Racks & network devices

* Physical layer (also known as Layer 1) troubleshooting

* Equipment disposal activities

* Network troubleshooting

Must be willing to work shift work which includes nights and weekends
