Lifeguards (Seasonal)
Vacancy Notice Town of New Fairfield Position: Lifeguards (Seasonal) Department: Recreation General Duties: Guards are directly responsible for the personal safety of all patrons while in the town park.
Enforces all rules and regulations of the park; responsible for maintaining a clean safe environment at the town park when not on duty.
Reports directly to the Waterfront Director.
Minimum Qualifications: Red Cross Lifeguard & Waterfront Certification required.
CPR & First Aid Certification required.
Current certifications must be uploaded to application.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Experience as a lifeguard preferred but will train qualified candidates.
Must be available to work weekends starting Memorial Day through June and then daily through Labor Day.
