Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Join our dynamic team at MPI as a Mechanical Engineer and play a key role in creating innovative machinery! In this collaborative role, you'll develop mechanical designs, oversee projects, and actively participate in our LEAN culture to optimize processes and drive efficiency. Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical components for our machinery, ensuring they meet project specifications. Oversee mechanical aspects of projects, collaborating with electrical engineers and managing production support. Create detailed project documentation, including bills of materials and user manuals. Participate in daily LEAN meetings, identify areas for improvement, and help streamline mechanical processes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 4-5 years of mechanical design experience (machine tools a plus). Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, drawing practices, and tolerances. Experience working with machine tools, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
