Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced

AV Field Project Manager

to oversee on-site audio-visual installations, manage field teams, and ensure project execution meets safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements. This role requires both

hands-on technical expertise

and strong

leadership skills .

Key Responsibilities

Supervise technicians and perform hands-on tasks in shop fabrication and on job sites. Lead and train field technicians on safety standards, AV installation best practices, and internal processes. Coordinate staffing and resources with the AV Project Manager to support installation plans. Verify technicians have required tools, equipment, materials, and PPE prior to work.Conduct site surveys, confirm trade work completion, and assess job site readiness. Facilitate installation kick-offs and lead crews according to project plans. Perform quality inspections throughout the installation process and at completion. Provide technical guidance to field staff and subcontractors as needed.Stay current with emerging AV technologies and participate in ongoing training. Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years' experience

in commercial audio-visual systems and installations. Strong understanding of AV infrastructure, blueprints, scopes of work, and technical documentation. Experience with control systems (e.g., QSC, Logitech, Extron) and touch panel programming a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Leadership and team-management experience. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. OSHA certification (10-hr or 30-hr) and AV industry certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-I) are a plus.
