Overview:
The Warehouse Associate helps to manage the success of our warehouse operation in a high-volume home delivery environment through the inventory, unloading and organization of appliances throughout the warehouse. Due to the unique challenges of the industry, it is essential that applicants possess the skills necessary for success in performance-based environments that focus on client service, urgency, and continuous improvement. The Warehouse Lead reports directly to the Location Manager (II or III).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving appliance inventory via forklift from daily semi truck deliveries.
Ensuring accuracy of all product coming into the warehouse – comparing product received to bill of lading.
Daily, accurate inventory reporting into inventory management system (Descartes).
Accurately reading route manifests, pulling corresponding inventory via forklift and delivering to corresponding loading dock lanes.
Regularly surveying and assessing current inventory levels as requested by the client, and updating the management system as necessary.
Ensuring warehouse is clear + free from trash/debris from trucks returning from routes.Work with TopHAT Corporate on trash management system (where applicable)
Comply with regular OSHA warehouse standards.
Daily inspection + operation of forklift and hand dolly.

Full-time position that will consist of 40 hours per week.
Hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm, Tuesday - Saturday
Possible overtime during peak season

Qualifications:
Must have 2 years warehouse experience.
Must have experience with inventory systems.
Must have ability to lift 75+ pounds.
Must have current driver’s license.
Must be self-motivated and has the ability to work and stay on track with minimal supervision.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software (excel, work, etc).
