Our client, an International Manufacturing company, has a Controller opening! This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting for multiple entities, budgeting support, consolidations, and foreign currency activities while leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.
Responsibilities·
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for three entities·
Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and account reconciliations·
Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial statements·
Prepare timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting·
Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes·
Perform budget-to-actual analysis and provide financial insights to leadership·
Manage consolidations across multiple entities·
Oversee foreign currency exchange accounting and related transactions·
Calculate and maintain overhead and labor rates within the manufacturing environment·
Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and operational performance metrics·
Assist with cash flow management and financial planning activities·
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Qualifications·
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required ·
CPA or CMA designation preferred·
Experience within a mid-size to large size manufacturing company required·
International accounting experience preferred·
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required·
ERP system experience required·
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills·
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment·
Self-motivated and adaptable in a dynamic environment
