/ph3Purpose Of Job/h3pThe Warehouse Supervisor provides guidance and direction for inventory movement in Distributorships warehouses to include loading/unloading trucks.
/ph3Job Components/h3ulliSupervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff.
/liliEnsures continuous process improvement/liliCoordinates physical inventory process and cycle counts/liliProcesses inbound receiving of containers or full truck, truck pallet shipments, and small parcel shipments.
/liliOperates forklifts and trains the Warehouse Workers on safety of goods and efficient use of equipment.
/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliMinimum of 1 year warehouse experience including inventory control procedures and inventory/ accounting relationships/liliStrong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills/liliStrong organization and time management skills and able to work under pressure/liliWorking knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing and distribution methods/liliUnderstanding of state, federal and interstate commerce regulations/liliStrong computer skills/liliHave keen understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements/li/ulh3Scope Data/h3ulliResponsible for inventory valued at $500,000 - $3.0 million/liliProcess flow of ******** million pieces shipped per year out of the warehouse/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliRegularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
/liliSpecific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
/liliAbility to occasionally lift and/or move 70+ lbs.
/liliExposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
