???? Role Overview
The intern supports mechanical and project engineering activities across active projects, contributing to design, analysis, testing, documentation, and coordination tasks.
The role is ideal for students seeking hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced, technical environment.
???? Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, modeling, and modification of mechanical components using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar).
Support engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and basic simulations under supervision.
Participate in project planning activities, including scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, procurement, operations) to support project execution.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Assist in prototype builds, testing, data collection, and reporting.
Conduct research on materials, components, and industry standards to support engineering decisions.
Help identify and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues during project development.
Present project updates and findings to engineering leadership.
???? Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Completion of foundational coursework (Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Materials, CAD).
Basic proficiency with 3D CAD software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
???? Preferred Qualifications
Experience with FEA or CFD tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL).
Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, welding, additive manufacturing).
Exposure to project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana).
Hands-on experience with lab equipment, prototyping, or mechanical systems.
