Prototype Machinist-Level 3 | Lockheed Martin
Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations is seeking an Experimental CNC Machinist to join our team in Littleton, CO! In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to: Follow instructions to machine, fabricate, or assemble parts to print and operation sheet specifications using CNC machinesInterpret CAD data, prints and sketches regarding fabrication and follow written instructions Set up and operation of computer numerical controlled vertical machines. Performs such operations as drilling, milling, boring,&threading, etc. on any/all types of work within the scope of the machine Perform secondary operations during machine cycle such as deburring and straightening work area Inspect parts prior to submission and as they are produced using standard gages, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gages, and other measuring devices to ensure conformity to specificationsSelect and install proper cutting tools, zero in the machine to control and make other necessary setup adjustments Assist in providing feedback on prescribed processes Basic Qualifications: Machining experience Ability to read and interpret GD&T documents Proficiency with using precision measuring equipment Proficient in CAM software Desired skills: Completion of Machine Tool Technology program preferred AS9100 environment experience Mastercam 2024/25 experience Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $56,600 - $99,705. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
