Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking talented Civil Engineer with experience in either site, roadway, municipal or airports.  Also a background in lighting/signage installation, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation / protection, and pavement rehabilitation) to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Developing civil airfield design,  municipal projects, site design and construction improvement documents

Coordinating with planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projects

Performing civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports

Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of engineering and municipal projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage improvements, utility relocation and protection, and pavement rehabilitation

Will be involved with projects from start to completion including planning, design, and construction administration, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans

Collaborating and/or coordinating delivery teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians

AutoCAD or MicroStation 3D modeling mentoring

Supervise, coordinated, and production of several projects concurrently.

Establishes positive client relationships

Coordinate with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit Agencies

Includes regular site visits during the design and construction phases of improvement projects throughout the United States
