General Laborer

Duration: 12+ months contract with possibility of extension or FTE

Location: Livonia, MI 48150

Shift: M-F - occasional Saturdays (6AM - 2:30PM - some OT)

Job Summary:

The General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in

nature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform manual labor tasks and support team members during jobs.

Identify any hazards as observed for the safety of personnel and equipment.

Communicate issues with leadership.

Perform shop clean-up and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience (required):

High school diploma or equivalent.

No previous experience required.

Education and Experience (preferred):

1 year of experience working in a shop environment or equivalent military experience.

Valid driver's license.

Experience operating a hi-lo.

Experience packing and shipping parts.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required):

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Dependable and has good attendance.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (preferred):

Knowledge of hand tools.

Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
