General Laborer

Duration - 6+ months contract with possibility of extension or FTE

Location - Farmington, MI 48335

Shift - M-F (occasional Saturdays) (7AM - 3:30PM - some OT)

Job Description:

Job Summary:

The General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks in a shop environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform manual labor tasks and support team members during jobs.

Drive a Hilo to empty machining chip hoppers into scrap bin

Package parts for shipment

Counting parts for both inbound and outbound shipments

Moving parts to location throughout the shop

Perform shop clean-up and other duties as assigned.

Possibly deliver parts to other building.

Education and Experience (required):

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 year of experience working in a manufacturing shop environment

1 year of experience driving a Hilo

Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required):

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Dependable and has good attendance.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (preferred):

Knowledge of hand tools.
