Note: Commercial (office, industrial, retail) experienced is highly preferred. 

 

What you’ll do…

Compile and analyze timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other accounting standards.

Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize and interpret the company’s financial position.

Develop annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for assigned properties.

Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.

Generate annual work papers and support schedules for year-end tax returns, audits, and financial statements.

Collaborate with Operations to prepare and maintain annual business plans, cash flow projections, and financial reports.

Manage asset/portfolio capital reserves, assets, and expenditures by monitoring revenue, expenses, payables, receivables, and capital expenditures.

Maintain various ad hoc financial models and analyses integral to asset/portfolio cash flow management, financing, operations, and investor relations.

Prepare lease analysis including the calculation of lease termination payment along with calculating the financial impact of prospective new leases, renewals and expansions as it relates to the asset/portfolio.

 

Your qualifications…

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Proficiency with real estate accounting software (MRI preferred).

Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Ability to apply sound business judgment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently while achieving team goals.

Strong project management skills.

Experience calculating and reporting on CAM

Team player with a “can-do” attitude.
