Job Title: General Labor Job Description This role involves physically demanding general labor work in a busy manufacturing environment that produces metal automotive parts. You will load metal parts into machines, monitor robotic unloading and stacking, and perform quality checks to ensure parts are correctly labeled and sorted. The work is repetitive, highly physical, and requires consistent lifting throughout the shift.Responsibilities Load metal automotive parts into machines and ensure each part is properly clamped and secured before operation. Monitor automated equipment and robots that unload and stack parts, intervening when necessary to maintain safe and efficient operation. Perform regular quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.Sort and place parts into appropriate bins according to part number and labeling requirements. Handle parts weighing approximately 20–45 lbs every 2–3 minutes throughout the shift. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working around metal machining equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient production.Work frequent Saturday shifts and occasional Sunday shifts as required by production demands. Essential Skills Proven experience performing physically demanding work that involves frequent lifting of 25–40 lbs. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Experience in physically intensive roles such as construction, farming, landscaping, or similar work.Comfort working with metal parts and in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus on safety and quality. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, midnights, and frequent Saturdays. Additional Skills&Qualifications Experience in general manufacturing, assembly, parts washing, or machine operation. Exposure to quality inspection or basic quality control processes.
