Senior Business Systems Analyst, Florida

Description/Comment:

Manage accounting impacts from the implementation of new/upgraded reporting systems

Drive/assist in the creation of Accounting Workflow documentation ("T-Accounts”); familiar with financial statement reporting and preparation

Support and understand balance sheet account reconciliation processes

Strong understanding of general Finance and Accounting processes (including internal controls) to ensure financial integrity and control requirements are met (including SOX compliance)

Design and drive innovative new initiatives to increase efficiency and quality of financial reporting and controls throughout the segment and controllership

Provide US GAAP technical accounting support

Synthesize research and findings into concise presentations

Develop professional relationships with various business partners

Perform ad hoc projects in support of the organization and business

Basic Qualifications:

• Financial Systems Experience:

Testing – writing/executing test scripts and test plans, defect resolution, triage

System integration/implementation/sustainment: data validations/variance between multiple systems; master data; reconciliation

Documentation

• ERP Experience – SAP preferred

• Background in finance or accounting – knowledge not industry

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v lookups)

• Strong communication to interact with both partners and management.

3-5 years of experience

Required Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Education MBA, CPA or equivalent
