Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $***** / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to post orders.
Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence, following use-of-force guidelines, handling escalated situations professionally, and completing required reports before the end of the shift.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
