/ph3Primary Responsibilities/h3ulliMonitoring accounts to identify overdue payments/liliFinding and contacting customers to arrange debt payoffs/liliKeeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity/liliTake actions to encourage timely debt payments, including sending proper notices and placing liens if necessary/liliResolve billing and customer credit issues/liliMaintain internal and external communications/liliPrepare open invoice reports/liliPerform job close-out/liliProvide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers/liliHandle general phone calls and greet visitors to the office, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience/li/ulh3Position Requirements/h3ulli2+ year(s) of collections or collections-related experience/liliKnowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques/liliFamiliarity with laws related to debt collection/liliOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times/liliPolite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills/liliAbility to remain calm and professional during tense or stressful situations/liliExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail/liliVery self-motivated and goal-oriented/liliAbility to multi-task/liliCapability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment/liliProficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)/liliAbility to learn new software, including Xactimate and proprietary software/liliMinimum of HSD/GED preferred/liliAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law/li/ulpHours: 40 hours/week, flexible to work overtime when required.
