You will work with patients in a skilled nursing facility recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Florida PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.Demonstrated ability to follow treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel PTA experience preferred. Experience with ADL training, transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift hours: 08:30 to 16:30. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week.
