Mechanical Engineer, Delaware

Oxford Solutions has a new opportunity available with a client for a Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in consulting engineering with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of commercial, municipal, and industrial facilities.

Essential Functions

Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for new construction and renovation projects

Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts

Develop construction documents using AutoCAD

Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders

Provide engineering support through all project phases—from concept through construction

Ensure designs meet code compliance and client specifications

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Experience with consulting engineering in the commercial, municipal, or industrial sectors

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Familiarity with Carrier HAP or other HVAC load calculation software preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
