and drive various types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.Load and unload freight as needed, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while maintaining accurate logs of mileage and fuel usage.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with
regulations.Communicate
effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, road conditions, and any issues that may arise during transport.Maintain a clean driving record while adhering to all traffic laws and company
policies.QualificationsValid
commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles is
required.Familiarity
with operating manual transmission vehicles is a must.Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, or other specialized vehicles is highly desirable.Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight is a plus.Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings.
