/ppWe are seeking a 1st and 2nd Shift Material Handler to join our team at Wesanco in Smyrna TN!
/ppSchedule and Shift:/pulli1st 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday/lili2nd 3:30pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday/li/ulpHourly Pay Rate $***** :/pulli2nd shift includes $ 1.00 shift differential/li/ulpWork Schedule: Must be open to working Saturdays (same scheduled time as above) and OT as necessary/ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliDeliver parts to and from assembly stations in-process storage.
/liliOperate a counter balance forklift will be a requirement once trained.
/liliMaintain a clean and organized work area.
/liliProcess orders accurately using RF scanners shipping software.
/liliEnsure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
/li/ulpRequirements:/pulli1 year experience of counter balance forklift would be outstanding!
If not, 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience and willingness to train is MANDATORY to learn counterbalance forklift.
/liliMinimum 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
/liliLoading flatbeds with the correct product and adhering to the truck drivers guidelines.
/liliChecking product thoroughly to make sure the correct product and amount is being picked before loading or restocking in the warehouse.
/liliStrong attention to detail inventory accuracy.
/liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
/liliBasic computer proficiency.
/liliHigh school diploma or equivalent.
