Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Display a thorough understanding of the purposes of the School Food Service operations. Make available to each student nutritionally adequate meals Control food purchasing, storing, production, and service. Supervising and training of employees. Ability to understand&perform computer functions including Excel, Word&Titan Maintain standards of health, sanitation and safety as required by the State Board of Health. Supervise operation, care and maintenance of equipment. Maintain adequate records in accordance with regulations. Establish a healthy cooperative relationship with all to whom or from whom services are rendered or received.Any other duties assigned by the supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS:
Good physical health and able to lift 30 lbs. Leadership and supervising capabilities. Servsafe certified Ability to get along well with others. Knowledge of purchasing, preparation of foods and menu planning. Aptitude for bookkeeping and cost analysis. High School Graduate. A minimum of three years of successful full-time work experience in quantity food production and service.School food service experience preferred.
