Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Subsystem design (parts modeling in Creo, drawings for prototype shop or suppliers).
- Support designs with calculations, virtual analysis, decision analysis, and feedback from others.
- Integrate knowledge of product usage into design to improve customer experience.
- Work closely with the product design team and other functional areas, including Marketing, Program Management, Test Engineers, and Systems Engineers.
- Provide hands-on support for machine builds and upgrades in the shop.
- Coordinate with shop teams via work orders for assistance in certain tasks.
- May provide in-field support when machines are delivered to Marketing for customer feedback.
- PTC Creo modeling
- 2+ years in mechanical design
- Physical assembly and/or repair of equipment
- Casting design
- Plastics design
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical design and equipment assembly.
