divh2Material Handler/h2pDuration: 6 months/ppLocation: Durham, NC/ppShift: The shift is 3rd 11PM 7:30 AM M-F/ppJob Summary:/ppGeneral areas of responsibility include receiving supplier shipments; picking internal customer orders; shipping, and inventory organization, management and control.
Positions in the warehouse are responsible for the efficient use of the organizations storage and distribution facilities.
Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations.
Picks and stages finished goods Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) for loading and shipping.
/ppList duties in order of importance, consider percent of time spent on each activity and result to be achieved.

Pick, pack, and deliver orders for direct materials used in Manufacturing and Packaging Lines/pp2.
Process Stock Transfer Orders to Distribution Center/pp3.
Move material to storage bins or staging areas with proper equipment following all SOPs/pp4.
Assure quality, accuracy, and compliance with GMPs in shipping, receiving and the warehouse operation while maintaining a timely throughput of operations/pp5.
Accurately receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition/pp6.
Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner/pp7.
Handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.

Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures/pp9.
Monitors warehouse space requirements and assist with maintaining proper warehouse utilization/pp10.
Exhibit safe work habits while maintaining a clean, near and orderly work area/pp11.
Other responsibilities include data entry, cycle counting, and forklift battery maintenance/pp12.
Assess safety and environmental risks to ensure tasks adhere to HSE policies and HMS/pp13.
Performs other duties as assigned by Management/ppEducation/Experience Required:/ppHigh School Diploma or GED/ppValid drivers license/ppOne (1) year of warehouse and forklift experience required/ppWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements/ppAbility to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
/ppAbility to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.
/ppAbility to wear PPE correctly most of the day.
/ppAbility to operate heavy machinery.
/ppAbility to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions/p/div
