Job Title
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To assist in the daily routines and procedures of various District Office departments. PAY GRADE: $10.00 per hour FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Temporary/Summer Work - Must be at least 16 years of age. EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: High School or College Student CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIRED: NonePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Human Resources, Communications and Special Education - Sedentary Work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Technology - Medium Work : Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.PROFICIENT SKILLS: Follow written and oral instructions. Interpersonal, written and oral communication, organizational and computer skills. General knowledge of all office equipment. Maintain confidentiality of all records. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. Answer phone inquiries, direct calls and provide basic school system information. Perform clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed. Open and distribute mail. Ability to use or the aptitude to learn technology applications. Manage databases and input information, data and records.
