divh2Warehouse Shipping And Receiving Lift Operator/h2pWork Shift: First Shift (United States of America)/ppOur NC facility is temperature-controlled by HVAC./ppJob Description:/ppResponsible for performing the functions of the warehouse shipping and receiving lift operator, which includes but is not limited to the picking and staging of orders, unloading and receiving of finished inventory items from production facilities, and the wrapping and loading of outbound picked orders./ppEssential Job Functions:/pulliChecks equipment for potential safety hazards./liliOffloads inbound shipments using a forklift./liliPrepares product for receiving into appropriate locations./liliMoves product between locations throughout the warehouse to support replenishment requirements./liliPicks product from various locations in the warehouse./liliMust be able to from using paper orders./liliMaintains clean and organized workspace./liliAdheres to all company policies, processes, and procedures./liliMaintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization./liliExecute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully./liliFollows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions./liliPerforms effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect./liliTakes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects./liliFollow all department quality standards/criteria. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing./liliAbility to count in all units of measure using whole numbers. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret bar graphs./liliAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliHigh School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year work experience in a warehouse distribution facility/liliCertification on forklift, reach lift, order picker, clamp truck, and pallet jack./liliAbility to work with computer applications in a warehouse environment./liliAbility to work at heights as high as 30 feet./li/ulpPhysical Demands:/ppThe physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
