Event&Creative Operations Intern
Position Overview
Are you creative, organized, and excited by the fast-paced world of events and small business operations?
We are a growing event and creative business seeking a dependable and motivated intern to support day-to-day operations, event preparation, and client experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the event industry while learning the behind-the-scenes operations of a growing business.
No two days are the same in this role. One day may involve organizing inventory and preparing décor, while another could include assisting with event setup, administrative support, or helping create social media content.
Responsibilities• Assist with event preparation, setup, teardown, and cleanup • Organize inventory, décor, and event supplies • Pack and prepare rental items and materials for events • Support administrative and bookkeeping tasks • Assist with errands and event logistics as needed• Help maintain a positive and professional client experience • Provide general operational support in a fast paced small business environment
Qualifications• Interest in events, creativity, hospitality, or small business operations • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Dependable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Willingness to learn and take initiative • Comfortable working in fast paced and changing environments• Ability to lift and move event supplies throughout the workday • Reliable transportation required • Flexible availability including some evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications• Social media or content creation experience • Familiarity with Canva or Adobe platforms • Interest in decorating, styling, or event design • Previous experience in hospitality, retail, childcare, or events
