The
SECONDARY OPERATIONS MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN
will manufacture products to production and customer documentation requirements meeting customer and company defined quality and on-time delivery requirements. This position must ensure that all work is performed to superb quality standards and in a timely and efficient manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position may support one or more of the following production areas, depending on business needs: Assembly, Wetroom (Clean&Test), Laser Etch, Finishing, Laser Cutting, Fin Stamping, Machining, and Shipping.
Key responsibilities include: Adhere to departmental job expectations and production requirements. Maintain production flow by completing job assignments in alignment with quality, schedule, and efficiency targets. Perform accurate recordkeeping of time, data, and production information on documentation and computer systems.Evaluate data and results against specifications to determine product acceptance. Inspect and measure parts using precision tools, measurement equipment, and visual inspections to confirm compliance with specifications. Operate machines and hand tools to manufacture products to required standards.Apply materials such as cleaning agents, adhesives, lubricants, and inks in the manufacturing process. Follow company processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure safe and compliant production practices. Read and interpret blueprints, including dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues to reduce nonconforming product and drive continuous improvement. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED required; 1-2 years manufacturing experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities. Can problem solve and has ability to think independently. Pay attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools is a plus. Show initiative in work by being a self-starter, suggesting new ideas for completing a job, giving input as to how to improve the efficiency of a job, and organizing work time in order to complete jobs in a timely matter.
