Title: Staff Pharmacist CWR

Location: Northeast Regions US (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract Day Shift

Compensation:

Pay Range: $68.60-$98.00 Per HR

Description:

Responsible for dispensing and monitoring medication therapy in compliance with regulations and standards.

Ensure appropriate handling and security of drug products, including controlled substances.

Review and clarify medication orders to resolve potential issues.

Monitor patient drug therapy for allergies, interactions, and adverse reactions.

Prepare admixtures using aseptic techniques.

Inspect units to maintain proper medication storage and supplies.

Oversee the activities of pharmacy support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Comply with state and federal drug dispensing regulations.

Review and dispense medication orders accurately.

Monitor and adjust patient drug regimens as necessary.

Prepare intravenous solutions and other admixtures safely.

Conduct unit inspections for medication storage compliance.

Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants.

Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS degree in Pharmacy.

Certified Pharmacist with board certification.

Valid Pharmacist License.

1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
